What is the ASPI Program?
Through
the Access to Specialized Patent Information (ASPI) program, patent offices and
academic and research institutions in developing and least developed countries
can receive free or low-cost access to sophisticated tools and services for
retrieving and analyzing patent data. The ASPI program is made possible by a
public-private partnership between the World Intellectual Property Organization
and leading patent information providers.The World Intellectual Property
Organization (WIPO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. It is
dedicated to developing a balanced and accessible international intellectual
property (IP) system, which rewards creativity, stimulates innovation and
contributes to economic development while safeguarding the public interest.

What is PatBase?
